Last week the A.Proctor Group Directors and Managers hosted Customers and Associates at The 2018 147th Open Championship at Carnoustie Golf Links course.
Considered the second most difficult golf course in the world, the challenges of the ancient Carnoustie Links are legendary. In North America, the course is infamously nicknamed "Car-nasty," due to its famous difficulty, especially under adverse weather conditions. The Carnoustie Effect is a term arising after the 1999 Open Golf Championship when the world's greatest players failed to play to theoretical par for the distance. Even the winner then finished six strokes over par.
A fantastic two days was spent watching the world’s greatest golfers as they were tested at this world-class venue, with Francesco Molinari taking home the big prize!
