Wrapseal Launches: Proven Adhesive Performance at the Facade Interface

A new self-adhered interface membrane from Proctor Group, built on the same Wraptite ® adhesive technology trusted on projects worldwide for over 15 years, has been launched.

Proctor Group continues to expand its facade system offer with the launch of Wrapseal, a self-adhered, vapour permeable interface membrane designed to deliver confidence at the most critical junctions of the building envelope.

Developed to seal around windows, doors and other interfaces, Wrapseal provides an alternative to traditional rubber-based interface solutions, helping designers and contractors meet fire safety and performance expectations without compromising buildability.

    Product Information

Supplied in 50m rolls and available in 200, 250 and 300mm widths, Wrapseal is based on the existing Wraptite UV membrane, benefitting from the same patented adhesive technology that has been BBA certified for over a decade. The result is a membrane that is vapour permeable, easy to install, and fully aligned with modern facade performance requirements.

Wrapseal has been developed primarily for use alongside Wraptite and Wraptite UV, but can also be used with any Proctor Group wall membrane, giving specifiers flexibility without uncertainty.
“Interface detailing is one of the most critical, and often overlooked, areas of facade performance,” said Adam Salt, Head of Global Sales and Business Development at Proctor Group. “Wrapseal brings the proven reliability of Wraptite’s adhesive technology to these junctions, giving contractors confidence that performance won’t be compromised at the details.”

Beyond individual detailing, Wrapseal strengthens Proctor Group’s wider facade system approach, which also includes breather membranes such as Wraptite, Proctor A 1 Cement Board, and internal vapour control layers.

“Wrapseal delivers everything you expect from an interface membrane, with the added assurance of Wraptite’s proven adhesive performance,” added Keira Proctor, Managing Director at Proctor Group. “By using Wrapseal alongside Wraptite, contractors benefit from one integrated system, one company, and one point of contact for technical and commercial support.”
