“We wanted airtightness mainly, but also water hold-out and speed of installation,” said Scott Laird, Group Digital and Technology Officer at Reds10. “Two years ago, we might have thought Passivhaus levels of airtightness would be tricky to achieve, but now it’s normal. We have achieved airtightness test results ranging from 0.67 m³/hr/m² to 0.97 m³/hr/m², and Wraptite® has made a big contribution to that.”
Proctor Group delivered an initial training session on the installation of Wraptite®. Thanks to its self-adhered nature, no fixings, adhesives or primers are required. This speeds up the application process and eliminates the cost of additional accessories or components.
“Reds10 is a great success story, demonstrating how it’s possible to build a modular offsite business sustainably,” said Adam Salt, Head of Global Sales – Modular Offsite and Head of Business Development at Proctor Group. “We are delighted to continue supporting the company as it pushes the boundaries of what industrialised construction can achieve.”
